Neither worldly power nor moneymaking schemes can ever capture happiness. Mental restlessness results from an outward focus of awareness. Restlessness itself guarantees that happiness will remain elusive. Temporal power and money are not states of mind. Once obtained, they only dilute a person’s happiness. Certainly they cannot enhance it.” — Paramhansa Yogananda

This wonderful course offers the inspiration necessary to live a life filled with inner strength and happiness. The essence of all spiritual teachings is the recognition that all fulfillment and joy lies within us. We’ll explore the sayings of Paramhansa Yogananda and see how we, too, can realize this inner paradise. Through affirmations, visualizations, and other practices offered to us from Yogananda, we begin to develop a natural resonance with happiness as our own, innate reality.
In this self-paced course you will have 90 days to complete nine lessons. We encourage you to complete one lesson per week and to dedicate some time every day to your study so that you may get the most from the material. Take full advantage of the interactive forums to share your thoughts and inspiration with other participants, and the course instructor is available to support you throughout your journey.

Brahmachari Sagar

Brahmachari Sagar has served Ananda as a monk for almost seven years. He serves as a key member of Ananda's work in India and has helped on several fronts: as a member of Ananda's Kriya Yoga community in Pune, as a teacher and counselor to students, and overseer for Ananda India's Online Fundraising efforts. He also led Ananda's work in Mumbai for about five years. Born in a family of practicing kriya-yogis, Sagar read Paramhansa Yogananda's Autobiography of a Yogi at a young age, an influence that waxed ever stronger as the years passed and culminated in his decision to dedicate his life to serving Yogananda's mission. Sagar is currently visiting Ananda Village, California to know more about Ananda's work here, and is always happy to learn new things as well as help share these teachings with truth-seekers everywhere.
