This course is a gift in so many ways. As a beginner on the spiritual path, it is clearly accessible, while calling from the depths of the soul the sweet remembrance of what is truly important. As an intermediate learner, “traveling the razor-edge path to Self-realization”, the deeply guiding teachings of the beloved master Paramahansa Yogananda are presented in such a clear and concise way. For the more advanced, the utter sweetness of the guru-disciple relationship is so wonderfully deepened, even while calling forth a greater discipline.
There is a spiritual magic in these teachings, and Sagar helps bring that to life while emanating the blissful joy all human beings seek. There is much more offered in this course than the material in the modules. Because there is no time constraint on completing the work, for me, while it sometimes felt like tarrying, rather it was that the particular teaching was most relevant at the time it was undertaken–sometimes weeks later. Another gift is that we can refer back to the material at any time.
I learned so much about myself; this course helped me feel much closer to the line of gurus, to Master, to others on the path, and most of all, to God.

This course is a gift and I give thanks to Sagar who shared with us the wisdom of the great spiritual Masters and God. On the path to self-realization, this course is a must. Personally, what I have learned and what I am putting into practice in my daily life from this course, has helped me to wake up (somewhat) from maya, and this is a true blessing.
Friends from all walks of life, take this course with Sagar who presents the topics of karma and reincarnation in a way that will help you grow spiritually. The lessons do have to be assimilated gradually (it took me 4 extra months to finish the course) and that is part of soul expansion. Karma and Reincarnation lessons are beautifully written and wonderful to read. I enjoyed these teachings very much and looked forward to each class. This is the second course I’ve taken through Ananda, and I am so grateful for the teachings and instructors here. Karma and reincarnation are topics I’ve understood very basically, and now I very much appreciate the understanding and perspective I have gained. Each lesson left me looking forward to the next. And now that this course is completed, I am very inspired to continue with the next course.
Sagar is a phenomenal instructor. The course material is masterfully assembled from different sources to address each lesson’s focus. There is reading material, a live and recorded class video, and videos from Swami Kriyananda that all complement each other. Sagar’s passion is obvious. He has an enthusiastic delivery of course material and is very thoughtful in answering questions and making comments on our quizzes. He is generous with his time, extremely personable, and also shares on the forum with insights of life at Ananda Village.
The first thing to convey about this course is that Sagar is a delightful instructor who is both lighthearted, warm and accessible but at the same time he brings in depth knowledge, experience and passion to teaching. A hallmark of all of Ananada’s offerings is a logical progression and clear presentations and the material is beautifully logically organized. There are plenty of audio, reading, and video supplements to complement the weekly class presentations. Sagar has the in depth experience to tie the material to practical aspects.
An important feature of the class is the weekly quizzes which allow you to test your understanding- but more importantly- Sagar gives detailed feedback on each quiz. How he does this for the large class so promptly is a mystery but this allows students to ask questions- explore additional areas- and correct and extend their understanding. A cool feature is that there is always an open ended question or to so students can slip in concerns, special questions, or whatever and get the instructors feedback- a special bonus! Responses are always gentle and loving and students feel positive and uplifted by the ‘quiz experience’.
I strongly endorse this course for anyone curious about how karma and reincarnation underpin the self-realization path!

Energy and vibration are key elements we constantly interact with. I believe we are so much more special than we can even know. I have questions about why good or bad things happen to us, why we are here and as to the meaning of everything, or if there is any meaning to all this. Sometimes life is going really good and we feel like we are in the left lane flying down the highway progressing on our journey, but then life seems to surprise us with unseen speed bumps that will stop us in our tracks. Are we making the right decisions about our current life, are we planning for what future?

This is the second course I have done with Sagar. I have come to enjoy his virtual and real company and friendship very much and would actively seek out any course he was involved with. Thank you. The course does not require you to achieve a percentage or mark to succeed, or even, finish with any particular speed as it is open ended. But continuity is King, just like our spiritual life requires us to keep trying, so trying to keep up is definitely worth the effort. 10/10.

Over this past year, I have taken several courses at Ananda. The Karma and Reincarnation course is one of the best. I love the subject matter. Sagar does an incredible job with his clear insight and knowledge. Personally, I can’t get enough. There are so many questions and inquiries when it comes to our Karma. This course answers a lot of those questions. Taking this course has inspired me to learn more about Karma and Reincarnation. I have also been inspired to become a better human being and to take actions in order to live my life a little closer to God each day.
I now have taken several Ananda classes and must say that those taught by Sagar are best of all. He is so warm, knowledgeable, interesting and concerned for the welfare of all that I feel blessed to have learned so much from him. I love the way he structures each lesson and supplements them with interesting videos, readings and interactive quizzes that help to integrate everything we have heard and read. If I could say one thing about this course that surprised me, it was how much my childhood Christianity was clarified by these lessons. I didn’t realize how the teachings of Jesus and the Eastern philosophies actually complimented one another and that together they provide such a beautiful picture of life, death and the relationship of Karma and Reincarnation.

It was a beautiful journey for me, both for my ego and inner-Self. Next step wil be more challenging I assume, but that’s my pilgrimage. During the course it became more and more clear that the mental knowing of the lesson’s content is not enough to carry on, but meditation is the way forward. The instructor Brahmanchari Sagar is an illustration of this principle and he is an example of the positive behavioural effects in his proven performance of a wise personal teacher and fellow traveler. His joy is infectious.
A terrific course, simply put. Taking these difficult concepts, the instructor, Brahmachari Sagar, teaches with clarity and skill that only one with a deep knowledge of the subject could. I had only a superficial idea of these subjects; he succeeded in opening my eyes to rich levels of understanding, that I can now sincerely apply to my life.
