Have you practiced Ananda Yoga? If so, how much? If not, why have you chosen Ananda's training? * Ananda takes a classical approach to Yoga: as an aid in the quest for Self-realization, for union of soul with Spirit. Although Ananda Yoga Teacher Training takes place in that spiritual context, trainees are not expected to follow Ananda’s spiritual path; we encourage you to grow on your own path. Does this seem like a good fit for you? * Do you practice meditation? If so, how often? *
This is not a prerequisite for the course.

Additional Questions: Live classes will be most Saturdays and some Sundays, with one weekend off per month. Do you have time to do an average of 9-12 hours of coursework per week? (2–4 of those hours are guided yoga practices and assignments) * You'll be required to attend 75% of the live weekend classes. Which 2 class times are you commiting to attend? *
Recordings will be made available for classes that are missed, and you'll need to watch those recordings before the next weekend's classes.

(For example, you can participate only on weekends, or you will be traveling and will not have the time or internet access to participate.) * If “Yes,” please give the dates that you will be unable to participate, so your instructors can best work with your availability. You will need to have a volunteer student to teach such as a family member or friend, on three different occasions during the course. Please confirm that you can find a volunteer student. * As part of this course, you'll need to acquire a copy of "The Art & Science of Raja Yoga" book by Swami Kriyananda (J Donald Walters).
