Meet your Instructors
Dhyan Garcia-Davis grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and moved to Ananda Village back in 2010. Immersing himself in the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, he finally discovered what had always been missing in his life: inner joy. Through the power of Kriya Yoga and service to others, Dhyan has dedicated his life to spreading the universally applicable teachings of yoga and meditation to other truth seeking souls. Being a certified Ananda Yoga and Meditation teacher, he has lived and taught these liberating techniques of yoga both in America and India. Earnest in his search for truth and in his love for others, Dhyan extends his friendship to soul friends everywhere.
Lalita moved to Ananda Village in 1984. In 1988 she and her husband moved to Ananda Sacramento as ministers. Lalita taught yoga and meditation classes, gave Sunday Services, led sadhanas and worked in the Ananda Center. She and her husband also helped establish the Ananda Community in Rancho Cordova.
In 1999 they moved back to Ananda Village as program directors for the Village Residential Program. During that time Lalita worked closely with new residents providing friendship, counseling, group meditations, organizing the household and classes. In 2018 they moved to Crystal Hermitage where she is now the manager. Deepening her spiritual life through meditation, Kriya and service is a priority. It is a joy to help others deepen their own spiritual life and find the joy we are all seeking
